What we collect

• When you ask for a quote: your name, email address, the package and plan you pick, any discount code, and your message.
• When you become a client: your name, email address, phone number, business and domain details, your project's progress, and payment and renewal dates.
• When you track a project: the Order ID you type in. Your browser keeps it for that tab only, so you don't have to type it again.
• When you contact us directly by phone, WhatsApp or email: what you choose to send us.

Why we use it

We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, prepare your quote, build and look after your website, send you project updates and renewal reminders, and keep the records the law asks of us. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses no cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. It only keeps your Order ID and any discount code in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.

Who we share it with

We use a few trusted services to run the site. They may store information outside South Africa, and each one protects it under its own privacy and security terms:

• Formspree delivers the quote form to our inbox.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and our client project records.
• Resend sends project update and renewal emails.

We share information with anyone else only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept while we look after your website, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

How we protect it

Client records sit behind a password-protected system, and the public project tracker shows only your project's progress, never your email address or phone number. Order IDs include random letters so they can't be guessed.

Your rights

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email sven@evndesign.co.za and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're unhappy with how we handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
